As much beef stew meat as you want
1 orange, quartered
1/4 c. honey
3 tbl.’s shredded ginger
4-5-6 carrots
4-5-6 stalks celery
1 onion, purple, we cut the onion into big chunks
salt-N-pepa
3-4-5 cloves of garlic, we leave them whole.
3-4-5 potatoes, we halve them. do whatever you want. i don’t care.
sprigs of rosemary
you can also add 1/2 c. good orange juice if you want extra orange flavor.
we dump all of this in the crock-pot and call it a day. we have a timer on our crock-pot. 6 hours is about all it takes. whew!

peel the oranges before you cook it, because the peel makes it bitter. not inedible, but a little more orange peel-y than you’d like. maybe this is obvious and maybe i’m an idiot. highly likely.
