this is an alabama variant of “backwoods baklava,” from my great-grandfather, who still drives his car at 90 years old.

eagle brand syrup
put a pat of butter on your plate. pour some syrup on it (i said eagle brand, m.f.er!) take that biscuit and mix it round ‘n’ round. mmmmmmmm.
