Sauces, Spreads

Omnivore

Take a measuring cup, mason jar, iced tea glass, whatever. Depending on how large your salad (I recommend tossing this dressing in a large wooden bowl for at least 5 friends- if you don’t want your salad just totally drenched soaked, or if you do, invite less friends over for dinner).

Have all your veggies, meats, bacon bits, whatever in the bowl, dry, and ready to go. Add some radishes to that shit too. Radishes are good.

Mix olive oil (1 pt), balsamic vinegar (1 pt), red wine vinegar (1 pt) — or any kind of homemade pepper vinegar– and then 1/2 lemon or lime, a few gloves of fresh garlic all pressed or diced, crushed red pepper or just freshly ground pepper, dash of kosher salt, some Cavender’s or Tony Cashery’s or Season Salt, and then a small super small dash of cumin powder (or ground cumin). Stir/wisk that shit up really good (it should be kind of chunky-esque) and pour over salad. Toss. Serve. Eat.

I like to soak my spongy veggies in the dressing a few minutes before adding them to the salad (like cucumber, radish, bell pepper, etc). It adds a nice punch.
