Breakfast
Vegan
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup sunflower seeds (or other nuts)
1 cup raisins (or other dried fruit)
1/2 cup blackstrap molasses
mix all this together in a bowl. taste it: if it seems too dry or needs sweetener, add more molasses or honey.
optional ingredients include: cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, a dash of soymilk, salt; go crazy!
spread the gooey mess out on a baking pan, put it in the oven at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes, or until slightly crispy, stirring it all around once or twice. (use your judgement on the time; i am an extremely intuitive cook, meaning that recipes might as well be morroccan insurance pamphlets to me.)
now you have homemade granola. hippie.
