Silly Stuffed French Toast for Bitches

Breakfast

Vegetarian

 

1 loaf heafty bread (cut into thick slices)
4 large eggs
2 T. half & half
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 C. corn flakes
1/2 cup sliced almonds (not slivered, unless you are weird like that)
1 container marscapone cheese (you can use softened cream cheese if you are a silly)
2 T. honey

Beat the eggs, half & half, and cinnamon together in a casserole dish. In a different casserole dish, mix the corn flakes and almonds. Wisk the cheese and honey in small container. Get everything together like and assembly line. Egg mixture first, then corn flakes, with the cheese mixture in between. Ok, now preheat a flat skillet to medium to medium low heat. You do not want it to be too hot otherwise it will burn the corn flakes and will not cook all the way through. Grease the skillet with butter once it is warm, if the butter starts to smoke and burn then your skillet is too hot. Stop everything, clean the skillet and start again. Ok, now you are ready. Take a piece of bread and cover one side liberally with the cheese mixture. The more the better, I promise. Then place the bread in the egg mixture, cheese side up, and let sit until you finish doing the same to the rest of the bread. Then move the bread into the corn flakes. Once they are thoroughly coated with the corn flakes, take two pieces and put them together like a sandwich with the two sides covered in cheese meeting. Oh buddy. Oh snap. Put those bitchin’ mothers on the skillet and let them cook about 6-8 minutes on each side. Garnish with your favorite fresh fruit, powdered sugar and a mimosa, then watch the sausage/taco start throwing itself at you. Get yourself some, take a power nap, and then start the serious drinking.
