In General

New job….Dear God, bring me one.

Lately

LKW: Why is it so heartwarming to know that you’ve made into the reaches of someone’s subconscious… I don’t know but it is. Thanks for having me in there.

Weird Poison Ivy Facts:

- The toxin in Poison Ivy is called “Urushoil” and is so potent, that an amount that could fit on the head of a pin can cause rashes on 500 people. 1/4 of an ounce would be enough to cause rashes on the population of…. everyone on the planet.

- Specimens several centuries old can still inflame sensitive skin, so plants that have been dead for a long time will still carry active urushoil.

- Although a hot shower will make the itching stop temporarily, the hot water softens the sap and spreads it over your entire body, causing rashes everywhere. I can personally attest to this.

- Inhalation of the smoke of a burning plant which carries the toxin (poison ivy, sumac or oak) can potentially kill you.

- Scratching will spread the rash all over you, but because you are spreading the toxin itself to other parts of your person and causing new rashes. Rashes are your immune system’s response to urushoil…so people with immune systems weakened by a low T-cell count are less likely to develop symptoms.

Shit is out of mother fucking control. If you ever suspect that you have had contact with it….don’t fuck around with calamine lotion, just go to the god damned doctor and get yourself some prednisone….it cools the symptoms off within an hour…it also makes you feel really good (until you read the list of potential side effects).
