Grace Ann, I’m not sure if you read my profile, but:
1. Happy Birthday
2. I love Zumba. It’s like crack. It’s rare that I can even talk about it because I start to do the snake or bust out into a dirty line dance. It’s just starting to happen here. It seems like 75% of my class is African American, Latina/o, or some other ethnicity besides White Bread. So pick a neighborhood that has flavor when you choose a YMCA or studio to work in.
I’ve been subbing at the YMCA for some basic yoga classes & I’m still seeing a lot of attendance for what that’s worth.
3. I think your neighbor is growing pot upstairs in a handmade ceiling shelf system. Or he’s got a waterbed up there.

Snoverload for so much of the country except Vancouver who actually needs some snow for the Olympics. It was 65 degrees & sunny in Seattle yesterday.
The violent Hilltop Crips finally got taken down today. It’s Seattle’s oldest & most violent gang. I had no idea there was such a gang scene here. "Singles" never mentioned that Seattle. Just plaid, rain, coffee, denim with tights & Citizen Dick.
I had this great book when I was a kid called, A Book of Children’s Rhymes and Verse. It was a 1970s British book with a lot of wild illustrations. It shaped my preference for bellbottoms & loud prints.
I’m working weird retail hours & trying to grow my hair out. I feel like the awkward teen that worked at Merry-Go-Round & loved No Doubt & SWV.
