leigh heave has 13 recipes in the cookbook - show me
It seems to me, especially after reading Autumn’s post, that anyone who lands a job in this climate should admit and admit gladly that they were lucky. I hope to be lucky later this week.
Matt - I wish you’d finish your train of thought. What Tommy said about tribalism gave a name to something that’s irked me for a long time about this website. It’d be amazing if it was talked about–but I’m not holding my breath. And I disagree with the comment (Rachel’s maybe?) about how our posts here don’t reflect our true selves–on the contrary, I think I’ve learned quite a bit about people I barely know/have never met through the words they choose to share here. And I think they are like slivers of what our real interactions are/would be like. And what happens on Arkansas Rockers certainly translates to the "real world." And the more time you spend in the real world, the more you’ll encouter those who disagree with you, who will take umbrage with something you’ve said, who will have completely different experiences/perspective than you…and getting all your friends to come to our defense, to tsk tsk someone for taking offense, to dismiss their opposing opinon or life experience, or to simply ignore that opinion and the orignial offending remark, well those things don’t exactly work in the real world. But you have to go live in it to learn that.
