In General

Metallica is re-issuing their 4 classics on vinyl. I guess they did this in a box set previously, but it was limited editions. This one will be more widely available.
Kill ‘em All and Ride the Lightening are already out. Per Blabbermouth, Master of Puppets due in June. All three are/will be available in a single LP version and a double LP version (their site says thus: one like the original on a single disc spinning at 33 1/3, the other a two disc, 180 gram vinyl, 45 rpm package all in a double gatefold. The music was half speed mastered from the original analog tapes at Mobile Fidelity to bring you audiophile quality.)
Maybe they’ll take this opportunity to mix the bass back into ‘Justice.

LabCabin was good on it’s own, I like the mellow, synthed-out beats, but w/out the crackhead in their group anymore (Can’t remember what his name is - I think Spike Jones did a documentary with him, though), it doesn’t have the originality and creativeness that Bizarre Ride did. ‘Otha Fish’ from BRttFS has to be one of the all-time best flows that I have ever heard.
I don’t think I even once made it all the way through Plain Rap. Meh.

Collin Miles showed up in my dream last nigh. We were on a crew remodeling this house, and then I would slam these weird futuristic energy drinks (the first one was handed to me by Ahhnold Swartzenegger(sp, fuckit), a la the opening scene in The Rundown, and then I could do all these super jumps throuout this landscape that looked like Led Zepplin’s Houses of the Holy, except all urban and post apocolyptic. Everyone who was hanging out on stairs and shit when I would come through doing my superjumps seemed pretty happy that I was doing that. Then, everytime I would get back to the jobsite, a lot more work had been done while I was gone (high fives).

Stopping the herbal intake makes you be able to remember your dreams more vividly again. At least there’s that.

(in Meatwad voice) “So what if I’m drunk, what are you gonna do about it?”

I have poison ivy on my fucking arm right now, too. It is an unholy bastard.
So of course, I have and idea for a movie now that I know that smoking poison ivy can kill you. The one where this dude kills his bullshit rival in school by selling him some weed that has PI in it.
I just provide the killer scenes. you can hash out the plot and the drama an d all that shit that matters, but I don’t have the inkling to provide. I just want my credit for the killer scenes, and to play some heavy musics when we’re through.
Plus, I like beer. First, I like free beer. Then, I like cold beer. Then, everything else.

PS, I just saw UALR’s precussion ensemble do the whole album, Dark Side of the Moon, and it totally ruled without lazers or anything. …

Flook - too bad those tics are so expensive. It would be totally worth it though, you know.
Too bad there’s not some ‘classic alternative’ station, like the classic rock ones, where you could be the 10th caller and win some tickets.
“We’re about to play some Pezz, Sticks and Stones, and Fugazi, followed by some Nick Cave and a cut from the Dead Milkmen…but first, I have two Tom Waits tickes for the lucky 10th caller who can say, “KBBL’s gonna play me something Stooooopid…”

Oh, yeah…
