Lately
I am all about dialogue and participatory research, assuming that means drinking moonshine and playing banjo with my "informants." that’s pretty much how folklorists roll in Tennessee.
Shane, I have to say, Madame X looks like they’re having way more fun than any other hair band. Spot on with the Captain D’s, though. I’m enjoying imagining the ad they placed to cast the lead in that video - "Wanted: midget. Must be able to perform a handstand/somersault and look really, really stoned."

finally unpacked my boxes of kitchen stuff, and now i have a kitchen instead of a construction zone. maybe this weekend i’ll make it so i have a bedroom instead of a burglary in a thrift store.
