things have become wide open.
no idea what to do next. can i get a job as a national psychogeographer?
Lately
amy: i’m coming over! i’m feeling quite stimulated in the cash department. but i can’t decide between the 200 and the 350. is the 200 body-only? the camera i brought in the other day clearly had a death wish. it has ceased to be. it’s expired, bereft of life, an ex-camera.
mitch: thank you for your detailed info. as long as the housing situation isn’t as bad as new york (where i lucked into an affordable place, but i don’t want to rely on luck), i think i can deal with it.

i’m doing a workshop on the american academic system at the german translators’ convention in june. i’ll be discussing things like the difference between an honors program and an honor society with translators from a culture that doesn’t have either. i love doing that kind of stuff.
and i just found out about a conference on psychogeography in manchester the following weekend. that’s munn-chestah, england. looks like i have to add a few days to my trip and hop on over, see what the british competition/community is doing.
