What the fuck!?! I mean what the fuck!?!
How did I not know about this before extremely recently? This might just be the most fucking awesome, gnarly, killer, totally hippie thing I’ve ever seen:
After watching this, I am seriously confronting the likelihood that late-era Black Flag might actually be the most bad-to-the-fucking-bone thing ever. EVER. Also, goddamn! Painted Willie and Gone are siiiiiick! They’re like some weird unhinged psychedelic prog-punk. I think what happened is that, along with many others, I had simply overlooked everything after “Slip It In.” And really, I didn’t even listen to “My War” all that much, at least not compared to “The First Four Years” and “Damaged,” both of which have been in heavy, heavy rotation at certain points in my life. “Loose Nut” and “Family Man” and all those later EPs and live albums just blended together for me. Clearly, I need to revisit this shit.
