I just read that Flavor Flav took the liberty of hyping his own (newest?, goddamned bullshit, what the balls at you doing, Flav?) reality show in the middle of one of Public Enemy’s live recreations of It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back. Is ‘L’ for L-A-M-E? I’m pretty sure. Did he get booed? Yup. Did he deserve it? Well, had I been there, I wouldn’t have booed him, but I still think the ‘L’ word is appropriate.
In brighter news, it looks as though PE#1 FUCKING KILLED IT.

Does anyone want to watch after Mr. Davis while we’re gone to San Fran? I’ve got someone to come check on him during the lunch hour during the week, but he really needs a play pal otherwise. Standard dog stuff: keep some meat on his bones, run him around the yard, maybe take him for a walk or two, and best yet, have the honor of feeding him peanut butter (he goes apeshit, it’s jawsome). So, there’s a short feature on The Bookshop in the newest issue of the Oxford American, on newsstands now if you’re interested. It was written by a former employee, so all the facts are correct for once. It’s short and sweet, but seems to be getting a bit of notice… I talked to a woman from South Carolina Saturday who read it, was in the area, and swung by for a few titles. Not bad.
Bonus DVD comes with it, including work by local Derek Jenkins, music by Little Rock’s #1 heartthrob Christopher Denny, and America’s biggest jerks, The Good Fear.

Racha’s Lemon Grass Chicken = Delectable.
Froggy’s = Surprisingly tolerable/”Cuz Everywhere Else Sucks”
