In General

Dirt Track.

Cobbles.

Lately

Good idea Professor Tango, but the principal of the matter is that I should be able to delete it. I don’t know….

The Six13 is a nice one. I would take one, too.

I can’t delete my Myspace account either….because of the old email account problem, too.

Mmmm Bacon.

Joe Martin Stage Race this weekend. Hoping it doesn’t rain.

Carlye, sorry is spelled your name wrong…so what have you been looking at?

Carly, if you are looking for something new, I would recommend a Specialized or Cannondale and possibly a Giant. First and foremost, it is important that the bike fits you well. Specialized and Cannondale make “women specific” models, but you could get away with a smaller “mens” frame. I don’t know how tall you are or anything, but that is something the people at the bike shop can help you with and set up a test ride, too. One thing you should ask yourself is how much money are you willing to spend. Bikes are priced by the frame material i.e. aluminum and carbon and by the the components. I think the Specialized bikes tend to have better components for the price compared to the Cannondales. Good components meaning the shifters, deraileurs, and crank arms, and also the wheels. (I could be making this too complicated). Shop around, test ride, and tell the salespeople what type of riding you want to do. I recommend the High Roller Cyclery, but all of the other bike shops in town should be just as knowledgable. Hope that helps a little. If you have any other specific questions don’t hesitate to ask.

Oh, I’m a geologist for a privately owned natural gas exploration company. (formerly employed as geologist for the environmental field)…some may say I have turned to the darkside, but that’s a whole other subject…

I had to revert back to racing the mountain bike to get a win. It was actually a lot of fun. I should do it more often. (even if I don’t win).

First day of work tomorrow.

I don’t even remember what Stone Temple Pilots sounds like…I hope it stays that way, too.

This Spring weather is so awesome. Dry. Sunny. Cool to Warm. Just right.

I’m excited to announce that my time of unemployment will be coming to an end at the end of this month.

Today I was out riding on a route called “old north road” which is an old road north of town with some good little hills. It’s mostly wooded with some “McMansions” popping up here and there. Anyway, I thought I saw a cougar/mountain lion lying on a boulder. I almost pooped in my spandex…closer inspection revealed that it was just a big tan dog probably a lab mix lying on a boulder. I laughed at myself. I’ve never seen a big tan dog lying on a boulder. Have you?

In other news Clay, Fiona, and Katie are killing me in Scabulous.

Congratulations to Jonathon and Lacy.

“I’m thinking of a number….” Katie that is one of the all time worst.

Head On!

Speaking of stupid commercials…I really hate the Carls Jr. commercials…absolutely disgusting hearing the people chomp on their food.

The Safe Auto Insurance commercials annoy me too.
